SI offers analysis, predictions and more about sports and athletes. Readers of the e-mail newsletter Sports Illustrated Extra registered online to receive their subscription. Both magazine and newsletter subs provided their e-mail addresses online and opted in for third-party offers. Some 51,200 last-12-month buyers' names are listed here. The catalog offers gifts such as toys, interactive games and gadgets for everyone in the family. Customers are between age 45 and 55 and earn more than $75,000 a year. An average order runs $82. Discovery Store had stopped mailing the catalog last year to concentrate on its Web site and stores. The store resumed mailing during the 2002 holiday season and sent out a winter sale book in February. Those on this list responded to a catalog mailing.

The file will feature traditional RFM selections and will be enhanced with overlay data from Acxiom's InfoBase. All of the specialty catalog lists have been on the rental market before, but this is the first time they will be merged, enhanced and offered as one product.

This 93,281-name file identifies subscribers to Iowa Farmer Today magazine. All live in Iowa and are self-sufficient, according to the list manager. They do their own plumbing and carpentry as well as repair their cars and heavy equipment. They also like to hunt and fish. Another 42,586 farm as a hobby. The hobbyists responded to a subscription offer, but unlike the others did not qualify for a free subscription.

This 16 million-record database of e-mail and postal addresses is part of The Vendare Group's complete 24 million-name database. People got their names on the list by signing up for a game, sweepstakes, coupon or other promotion. Some chose to receive marketing offers. Names on the file are selectable by different clickthrough interest categories that Vendare collected. It did this by tracking people's behavior online when they responded to e-mail campaigns. Those clickthrough selections include areas such as dating, weight loss, travel, lotto, psychics, education, casinos, sports, smoking, credit cards, debt consolidation and a number of others. A monthly hotline with some 150,000 records also is available.

This list was formerly limited to those who donated less than $50 but now includes the names of people who gave as much as $249.99. These individuals contributed to a variety of economic causes and frequently are engaged in grassroots-level activist efforts. They are against big government and are in favor of lower taxes. Discounts are offered for charitable mailers. There are some 27,400 last-12-month donors identified on the file. Active and inactive donors' names are available.
